Beyond the page
Six codes are printed inside the book. Each one opens an experience a physical book cannot hold.
What happens when you scan
Every QR code in How Life Feels… sits beside the poem or the story they belong to. You read the piece first, then you open your phone's camera, point it at the QR code, and a link appears.
What opens is a web page. All of the experiences are different in form. Some ask you to press. Some ask you to hold, and keep holding. One asks you to make a decision.
The digital spaces are not bonus content
The six experiences carry parts of the story that exist nowhere else in the book, and a few of them might change what you thought you had already understood.
That is also the reason why the book carries six of them and not sixty. They are not a gimmick but something I couldn't have just printed.
The book still works without QR codes
You can read How Life Feels… without ever picking up a digital device, and nothing will feel missing. All poems and stories can be enjoyed on their own.
The codes are an invitation to reveal another layer to the story. Scan them if you want to, but you can also ignore them and read the book itself.
How I made the digital experiences
I wrote everything myself. The web experiences behind the QR codes were built with the help of AI coding tools, and the image in the Tuesday’s Nightmare experience is AI-generated.
